This training provides an in-depth overview of the recent, significant updates to the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) Portal. Participants will learn how the new interface and process changes impact the full life cycle of National Provider Identifier (NPI) management. The session covers updates to the application workflow for new NPIs, enhanced validation and verification requirements, and revised steps for maintaining and updating existing provider information. Special attention is given to changes in user roles, access management, and the handling of supporting documentation.
